"The first pancake is always a failure. Just keep calm and check more. You and your father can never be wrong."My thoughts:

Writing style and Language:
⦿ The entire story is narrated in first person perspective.
⦾ The language used is facile and comprehensible.
⦿ The author does a good job at describing the cultural background and history of Mysore.
Book cover:
The book cover is extremely simple but it does depict the 2 story-lines that run simultaneously in this book – history and romance.
Dislikes:
💔 I didn’t really like the development of the romantic angle in this book. The love story seemed unnecessary and irrelevant to me.
💔 I came across quite a few grammatical and punctuation errors.
Recommend?
Anyone who is interested in knowing more about Mysore and its past can give this book a try.

"Imagine the world where all our clocks tick at different speeds. That means even though we live in the same place, we cannot be with each other."
