Blurb:
Dream Catcher. It catches your bad dreams. But Fazal Bashir never wanted one.
Tasted the fruits of success quite early for his age, the billionaire Fazal Bashir is intrigued by the veiled lady of his dreams, who always begs for his help to save her. As it is proved, people close to God are tested; likewise, a new problem is waiting for Fazal which will force him to look into his past.
Beyond Our Melancholy is a young adult spiritual romance novel, a story which puts you on thinking about life and its intricacies.

My thoughts:
Plotline:
'Beyond Our Melancholy' revolves around the life of Zinia, who, along with her unwell mother, moved into her aunt Zohra and uncle Zaheer's home after her father's demise. Although Zinia is loved by her uncle, her aunty despises Zinia for an incident Zinia was subjected to, and often, torments her for the same.
Fazal is a successful billionaire who settled in America after his parents demise. Although he's found peace with life, there's one dream that won't stop haunting him.
Even though Zinia and Fazal are countries apart, there's something that binds their lives. When destinies bring them together, will Zinia and Fazal manage to look beyond their melancholy and discover their bliss?
That's for you to read and me to dot dot dot (...)

Language and writing style:
The language used by the author is easy to understand.
The author does employ the use of Urdu words and phrases from the Quran, but that just increases the beauty of the story.
I really enjoyed the pure relationship shared by Zinia and Fazal. And the beauty with which the author managed to describe the usual life of a Muslim household was something that I really appreciated.
The author has done a great job in throwing light at the trauma suffered by a girl who has been raped.

Title and book cover:
The book title perfectly describes the story. The cover looks elegant.

Dislikes:
The amount of grammatical and lexical errors were too hard to ignore.
